PowerSkate is designed specifically for hockey and ringette players and is geared to skaters aged seven or older with a minimum of CanSkate Stage 4 experience who already have basic forward and backward skating skills. Skaters must be able to skate the length of the rink using alternate strides and be able to stop on command without the use of the boards. For safety reasons, all PowerSkate participants must wear full hockey/ringette equipment that is CSA approved.
